SCi ENTERTAINMENT GROUP PLC TO RELEASE 10 NEW NINTENDO TITLES

An innovative collection of games for Wii and DS by Christmas 2007

SCi Entertainment Group plc (‘SCi’), one of the world’s leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, is set to release 10 new titles for Nintendo Wii and DS by Christmas 2007.

Through its Eidos Interactive publishing arm, it will be releasing two Nintendo Wii titles and 8 Nintendo DS titles.

“Nintendo’s very successful hardware allows us to deliver a different gameplay experience to our consumers,” said Jane Cavanagh, Chief Executive, Eidos. “We are releasing a broad range of titles which will appeal to the diverse and ever-increasing Nintendo gaming community.”

Leading from the front will be the No.1 selling Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary for Nintendo Wii, a new version of the game which has already reached the top spot in all European territories on PlayStation 2 earlier this year. The Wii version fully utilizes the Wii-mote to allow for total control of Lara and her gadgets (including guns and grapple-hook) and adds new content unique to the Wii; such as Lara’s Dig Tools, a torch and exclusive puzzles. The result is a completely different Tomb Raider experience which brings Lara to life like never before.

The titles to be released will also include: Escape from Bug Island on Wii, Cake Mania, Nervous Brickdown, Prism: Light the Way, Toondoku, Operation Vietnam and New York Times Crosswords on Nintendo DS for 2007.

There are also currently over 25 Nintendo titles in Eidos’ 2008 line-up.

Nintendo recently reported strong sales of Wii and DS games consoles. Nintendo raised its sales forecasts for the Wii by 18% to 16.5 million units in the year to March 2008 and for the DS by 18% to 26 million.
